Thunder Rosa makes her entrance during an episode of AEW Collision in August of 2024.

AEW star Thunder Rosa returned to the ring on last night's Thunder Road show for the UK's Riot Cabaret Pro Wrestling promotion.

Not only did the former AEW Women's World Champion wrestle her first match since the August 31 edition of Collision, she walked away with some new gold, too.

Rosa defeated Nina Samuels to capture the RCPW Women's Championship in the show's main event. The title change came about after Nina's partner Cassius erroneously sprayed Samuels with hairspray, allowing Rosa to hit the Thunder Driver for the win.

The 38-year-old had recently revealed that she was cleared to wrestle after being out for almost two months due to a concussion.

She had previously hit back at 'lies' after it was reported by The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer that she had been cleared to return to action, reports that turned out to be premature.

The AEW women's division would receive a boost with Thunder Rosa's return to the active roster. The division will also be bolstered by the impending return of Julia Hart.

Britt Baker, meanwhile, should be back soon after missing a recent Dynamite match due to a case of strep throat.
