Thunder Rosa Waiting For AEW Return

She just needs Tony Khan to give her the word.

After over a year on the sidelines, Thunder Rosa says she is ready to return to the ring.

The 37-year-old former AEW Women's World Champion hasn't wrestled since August 2022 due to a back injury. However, she is now waiting for Tony Khan to pick up the phone.

Speaking with News 4 in San Antonio, Rosa said: "I am ready. Whenever (I get) that call and, you know, my boss says 'It's time for you to return'. I am super excited and I cannot wait to show to the world and all you fans that have been supporting all this time that I am ready and I have a lot more to give".

The outlet reported that Thunder Rosa will make her AEW return on the December 23 edition of Collision, which takes place in San Antonio, Texas.

AEW have yet to officially announce that as the date of her return, however, though she is featured in advertising for the show.

Thunder Rosa was reigning as AEW Women's World Champion when she was forced to vacate it due to her injury.
