Tiffany Stratton Says Charlotte Flair Is Her Dream Match

For all the wrong reasons, Charlotte Flair vs. WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton is one of the most talked about matches heading into WrestleMania 41. This comes after multiple segments have gone off the rails, with off-script comments being made and personal jibes making their way onto TV, leading to backstage unhappiness and apparent heat. 

As it turns out, Tiffany Stratton’s dream match in WWE is Charlotte Flair, as she revealed in an interview with Jan Murphy of the Toronto Sun on the Onefall podcast that her new rival is the reason she entered the professional wrestling business in the first place. 

“Yeah, I think this match doesn't even start with the past six weeks. It doesn't even start with her winning the Royal Rumble and her picking me. I think it starts with she's the reason why I got into wrestling. She is who I looked up to, who I saw on my TV screen, who I idolized, and I had it already set in my mind that she is a dream match of mine, even before I got signed to WWE. So this goes back much farther than that. She's obviously one of my idols, and at WrestleMania, I think this is when I solidify that I am the new generation, and I'm here to take her place."

Things took a positive development this week amidst their ongoing bad blood, as it was noted that WWE were happy with how their most recent SmackDown segment went down.
