It has been made official. TNA Wrestling will move to AMC in 2026, with TNA IMPACT scheduled to premiere on the network on Thursday, January 15 from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.
As part of the multi-year deal, TNA IMPACT will air on AMC every Thursday from 9 pm to 11 pm ET. The show will also be available through the AMC+ streaming service.
"We are super excited to bring the in-ring excitement, energy and drama of TNA Wrestling to AMC. TNA Wrestling heads into 2026 the hottest it has ever been - with intense rivalries and a fan base that loves the TNA stars. We cannot wait to expand the TNA audience with our new partner, AMC Networks, which has such a long and storied history of serving passionate and engaged fans across so many shows and franchises, through this new media rights deal," TNA President Carlos Silva said.
Fitting in with their new home on AMC, TNA will hold TV tapings at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico on January 22 and January 23. Two of AMC's biggest-ever shows in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul were based in Albuquerque.
Carlos Silva has been shopping TNA IMPACT around for much of 2025. Reports had noted earlier this year that TNA had held talks with The CW and A&E - two networks affiliated with WWE - but AMC emerged as a potential suitor in October.
The AMC deal looks set to be a positive one for TNA Wrestling as the network is believed to have double the visibility of AXS TV, where IMPACT currently airs in the United States. It is arguably the biggest TV deal for TNA since the promotion aired on Spike from 2005 until the end of 2014.
TNA Wrestling has enjoyed positive momentum since the promotion reverted back to the TNA name in January 2024. A working relationship with WWE NXT was formed in May 2024 and was formalised in January 2025, with talent exchanges common as part of the relationship. This has contributed to greater exposure for TNA, and the Anthem-owned company announced earlier this year that Bound for Glory had set a new North American attendance record for the promotion of 7,794.
AMC Networks, which includes AMC, BBC America, IFC, Sundance TV, and We TV, is majority owned by the Dolan family. The family have links to WWE as James Dolan is the CEO of Madison Square Garden Sports and Madison Square Garden Entertainment. Dolan oversees Madison Square Garden, as well as the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.
AMC is most well known as a home of prestige TV, particularly during the 2010s. In addition to Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, the channel has aired the likes of Mad Men and The Walking Dead. TNA IMPACT will be the first pro wrestling show to air on the channel.
