TNA Wrestling made a major announcement on Tuesday as it was officially revealed that TNA IMPACT will move to AMC from January 15, 2026 and the show will air on AMC and AMC+ every Thursday from 9 pm ET until 11 pm ET.
The reaction from TNA fans has been positive so far, and Fightful Select has reported that the reaction from the TNA roster and staff was unanimously positive, and there was a lot of excitement within the company. It was described as very much "sunshine and rainbows" after talent were briefed on the new TV deal on the morning of December 2.
One hope amongst TNA talents and staff, however, was that the promotion's creative would "get a big step up" with the move to AMC. There has been criticism aimed at TNA creative in 2025 from fans, particularly around the booking of the TNA World Title picture and other decisions, such as the X-Division Title match between Leon Slater and Je'Von Evans at Bound for Glory ending in a no contest after interference from DarkState.
The key figures in TNA creative are Hunter "Delirious" Johnson and Tommy Dreamer, and they report directly to TNA President Carlos Silva. Ariel Shnerer was previously effectively the head of creative but he exited the promotion in March of 2025.
