It was noted by TNA President Carlos Silva in the summer of 2025 that a new TV deal would provide TNA Wrestling with the opportunity to go live every week, but the promotion has ultimately opted not to go ahead with that strategy.
It has been announced that TNA Thursday Night IMPACT will air on AMC from January 15, 2026, with the first episode of IMPACT on the network scheduled to be live from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. TNA won't be live every week, though, and Fightful Select has reported that TNA IMPACT will be a mixture of live and taped episodes.
The belief within TNA is that a certain number of shows are required to be live as part of the deal with AMC. How many episodes of IMPACT must be live per year is unknown, however.
In addition to airing on AMC and AMC+, Thursday Night IMPACT will continue to air on the TNA+ streaming service. A TNA spokesperson told F4WOnline:
"TNA fans will be able to continue to watch Thursday Night Impact on TNA+ as well as AMC. TNA+ will also continue to be the home of TNA's premium live events and the full history of TNA."
IMPACT has aired on AXS TV and TNA+ in the United States in recent years, while the show is solely available on TNA+ in much of the world, including the United Kingdom.
