The WWE NXT-TNA working relationship won't be coming to an end, according to TNA President Carlos Silva, contrary to rumours on social media.

Following the announcement of TNA's new TV deal with AMC, it was claimed on X/Twitter by Blake "Axe" Avignon that WWE planned to end the working relationship with TNA by activating a 60-day termination clause.

"Sources: TNA is headed to AMC. The multi-year U.S. rights deal is finalized and is expected to land around $30M. With 1.15.26 set as the launch date, sources also indicate WWE intends to end its NXT–TNA partnership. Their agreement includes a 60-day termination clause, and the AMC deal activates it," Avignon tweeted.

This has been denied by Carlos Silva, however, who said on Busted Open Radio that the working relationship would "absolutely" be continuing following the AMC announcement.

"Absolutely. It's a big part of helping us get this deal. It's a big part of now being able to almost give back a little and provide a big platform for some of those superstars as well. And so, absolutely. The storylines, the things we're doing together, they're just going to continue to grow into 2026. The last 5-6 months have been awesome, and I think there's more to come. 2026 is just going to build off of that and be even bigger," Silva said.

TNA and WWE NXT began working together in May 2024 and the working relationship was formalised in January 2025. The partnership has seen the two promotions exchange talent on a regular basis, with the likes of Trick Williams, Jacy Jayne, and Kelani Jordan all holding belts in TNA, while Joe Hendry cemented himself as a popular talent on NXT while contracted to TNA.
