Tommaso Ciampa Appears On WWE Raw

Has a score to settle with a Raw talent

NXT veteran Tommaso Ciampa made an appearance on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw, after more than a month of performing in dark matches.

Ciampa performed commentary duties during a match pitting Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode against The Street Profits. Late in the match, Ziggler confronted Ciampa, and the two got into a brawl, while the Profits defeated Roode inside the ring.

Ziggler appeared on last week's NXT, interrupting a championship summit between NXT champion Bron Breakker and Santos Escobar. Ciampa then crashed the ceremony, argued with Ziggler, before taking him out.

Tomorrow night is NXT Vengeance Day. As it stands, Ciampa is not booked for a match.

Over the preceding month, Ciampa has wrestled in dark matches at four out of a possible five SmackDown tapings. He defeated Pete Dunne at two of them, and Roderick Strong at the other two. Ciampa has also defeated T-BAR and Akira Tozawa at Main Event tapings.

Ciampa was briefly part of the main roster in 2019, called up alongside then rival Johnny Gargano for a brief period.
