Tommaso Ciampa Has No Interest In WWE NXT 2.0 Feud With Johnny Gargano

The two had a brief confrontation last week

Tommaso Ciampa has claimed has no interest in reigniting his rivalry with Johnny Gargano and facing him in NXT 2.0.

Fans in attendance and on social media got excited as Gargano and Ciampa came face-to-face once again ahead of the main event of last week's WWE NXT show, crossing paths for the first time since their immensely personal feud which culminated last year.

Having reclaimed the NXT Title, Ciampa is not interested in defending the belt against his former DIY teammate and feels Gargano should instead focus on his pursuits of Carmelo Hayes' North American Title.

Speaking with Planeta Wrestling, when asked about facing Gargano, Ciampa said: "No. Like right now? No. He’s not on the top of my list, I like keeping my title.

"Stay away from me. He can go and get the North American Title."

Despite not being too interested in Gargano, Ciampa is taking a keen interest in the development of NXT 2.0, particularly as a host of new guys try to come to grips with performing for a WWE product.

He continued: "It’s super exciting, it’s great. I mean, watching guys who have been put on a fast track, sink or swim and a lot of obstacles for them to overcome and it’s cool to watch that and be a part of that.

"Seeing guys like Bron just take off right away, there’s a lot of people who have been working really hard, you know in front of nobody for a long time, so it’s exciting to see them get this opportunity."
