Tomohiro Ishii Vs. Moose Set For NJPW Resurgence

Four days after Chaos' NEVER 6-Man Tag Team Title defence, Tomohiro Ishii will head to the United States for a big match at Resurgence on August 14. 

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced today that The Stone Pitbull will go one on one with Moose at the event in their second-ever singles match. The two men previously faced off at a Ring Of Honor show in 2016 and Ishii came away with the win on that occasion.

Moose's appearance on the show is also the latest development in the IMPACT Wrestling-NJPW working relationship. The two promotions have been working together since late 2020 and the likes of Satoshi Kojima, El Phantasmo and Jay White have appeared on IMPACT, while TJP, Chris Bey and Josh Alexander have competed on NJPW's USA shows.
