Toni Storm Debuting On Next Friday's WWE SmackDown

The former NXT UK Women's champ is on her way

Recent NXT call-up Toni Storm will make her first appearance on WWE SmackDown on next Friday's broadcast in Cleveland.

A vignette aired during tonight's SmackDown, announcing Storm's impending debut. It was revealed last week that Storm had been called up to the blue brand.

Earlier this month, Storm wrestled a pair of dark matches, working with Shotzi Blackheart at the July 2 SmackDown tapings, and Tegan Nox at the July 5 Raw tapings.

Storm was set to feud with Sarray on NXT at the time of her call-up, and had also cut a promo on NXT Women's champion Raquel Gonzalez.

Storm had been part of NXT over the previous nine months. She twice challenged for the NXT Women's title when it was held by Io Shirai, but fell short on both occasions.

A former NXT UK Women's champion, Storm also won the 2018 Mae Young Classic, defeating Shirai in the finals.

In addition to Storm, both Blackheart and Nox were called up to SmackDown, where they've scored a pair of non-title wins over Women's Tag Team champions Natalya and Tamina.
