Tony Khan Comments On Jade Cargill Signing With WWE
Jade Cargill has officially joined WWE, Tony Khan has commented on the signing
After much speculation Jade Cargill has officially joined WWE.
The former All Elite Wrestling star was heavily linked with a switch to WWE earlier this month, after reports suggested her TBS Championship match against Kris Statlander on the September 15 edition of AEW Rampage would be Cargill’s last with the company.
The news was made official on September 26, and Cargill’s former boss Tony Khan has commented on WWE’s acquisition, saying the following on the AEW WrestleDream pre-PPV media call:
"I have only positive things to say about Jade. It's been great having her in AEW. She is always welcome here. She's had a great run with us and has a great career, I'm sure, in front of her. Wishing her the best in the future," Khan said.
Conflicting reports have emerged concerning Cargill’s first steps in WWE, with some believing ‘That B*tch’ will head to NXT for seasoning, whilst others have suggested that main roster plans for Cargill are a ‘priority’ within the organisation.
