Speaking on Busted Open Radio ahead of Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan revealed he plans to go back to his "ruthless roots" with his booking of Rampage.

The series' ratings have gradually fallen since Rampage debuted in August of 2021 and the show's ratings for the last three weeks were below 460,000 viewers and averaged a 0.14 rating in the key 18-49 demographic.

Seemingly with this in mind, Khan has booked some big matches for the next two editions of Rampage.

On the April 8 show, Bryan Danielson will take on Trent Beretta, Swerve Strickland will face QT Marshall, Red Velvet will go one-on-one with Willow Nightingale in an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Qualifier, and Jon Moxley will clash with Wheeler Yuta.

On the April 15 edition of Rampage, the AEW World Title will be defended on the Friday night show for the first time when Hangman Page puts the belt on the line against Adam Cole.

Both men have been feuding for the last couple of months and Page previously retained the gold in the main event of Revolution against his fellow Adam.
