Tony Khan Promises 'A New Era' Of Wrestling Starting At AEW Rampage: The First Dance

A huge night at AEW Rampage awaits...

All Elite Wrestling president Tony Khan has promised that Friday night's episode of AEW Rampage - The First Dance - will be the start of a new era in wrestling.

The First Dance is widely anticipated to see the long-awaited return of CM Punk, who is expected to end a seven-year self-imposed exile from wrestling after leaving WWE in early 2014.

The second AEW Rampage show, emanating from Chicago, is one of the most hyped and eagerly awaited wrestling events in modern history and Khan knows how excited fans are for the show, with the rumours around Punk persisting.

He wrote: "I’m betting that excitement from the most anticipated announcement in @AEW history at #AEWRampage The First Dance will build up through All Out on PPV.

"We’ll make new fans + we’ll welcome dormant wrestling households worldwide back into the fold; a new era in #AEW begins tomorrow."
