Tony Khan Refuses To Comment On MJF's AEW Dynamite Promo
Tony Khan refuses to answer questions about MJF after his ‘nuke’ promo on AEW Dynamite
We are one week removed from MJF’s incendiary promo on AEW: Dynamite, with the ‘Salt of the Earth’ becoming persona non grata since venting his frustrations on a live mic.
Whilst most believe the speech to have been a ‘worked shoot’, AEW have been silent on the matter, removing MJF from all promotional materials, and removing his profile from the AEW active roster page. AEW President Tony Khan has also been silent on the matter, saying the following to Busted Open Radio when pressed for his thoughts:
"I can't comment on that part. I would say that it was a great night overall at the Forum, on the aggregate,” said Khan.
Khan has refused to answer questions on MJF’s conduct on several occasions since Double or Nothing, with relations between the two believed to have been strained leading up to the PPV. MJF has made no secret of the fact that his AEW deal expires in 2024, and feels aggrieved that he is not one of the company’s top earners, despite being one of their biggest stars, and biggest draws.
