Tony Khan Responds To Triple H: "There Are People In AEW Who Have No Interest In Working For WWE"

Khan responds to HHH's media call comments

As part of the NXT TakeOver media call on Thursday, Triple H commented on the strength of WWE's women's divisions, saying, "In my opinion, the best female performers in the world are in WWE and if they are not, they want to be."

Several women's wrestlers, including AEW Women's champion Britt Baker, Thunder Rosa, and Shazza McKenzie tweeted differing degrees of dissent to Triple H's opinion.

AEW President Tony Khan gave his two cents on Busted Open Radio on Friday, questioning Triple H's choice of phrase, while noting that many in AEW have no interest in working for WWE.

"Everyone is building their own roster and are going to have good feelings about the people they work with," Khan said. "I don't think there is anything wrong with saying you think you have the best show or company. Where people got offended yesterday is when [Triple H] said, 'everyone wants to work here.' People are confusing the two things. If you want to say, 'I think my show and product is the best,' there is nothing wrong with that. You should feel that way. When you say 'anyone of any value wants to work here,' that's just not true. It's crazy.

"There are plenty of people who work for AEW that have no interest in working there. [Britt Baker] made it pretty clear yesterday with what she tweeted."
