Tony Khan To Address ROH TV Title Situation On November 16 ROH TV

The ROH TV Title situation to be addressed by Tony Khan

Samoa Joe sent shockwaves through Ring of Honor when he voluntarily vacated the ROH TV Championship on the November 8 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Joe relinquished the title after a successful defence against Keith Lee, declaring that he instead wanted to focus on taking MJF’s AEW World Championship instead.

During the November 9 broadcast of ROH TV on HonorClub, it was revealed that ROH Owner Tony Khan will address the ROH TV Title situation on the November 16 edition of ROH TV.

Joe recently become the single longest reigning ROH TV Champion in the title’s history, but his vacating of the belt has not gone down well with sections of the ROH and AEW audience, with some seeing it as a devaluation of the title, especially seeing as it was vacated mere moments after a successful defence. Others have questioned why Keith Lee had to do the job if the belt wasn’t going to stay with Joe anyway.

Since being established in 2010, there have been 25 different ROH TV Champions, with Jay Lethal having the longest combined reign with the strap, with 798 days as champion across two reigns.
