Tony Khan To Reveal First Collision Main Event On AEW Dynamite

More big announcements from Tony Khan about AEW Collision

Tony Khan seemingly can't resist making a big announcement at the moment and the AEW President has another reveal planned for the June 7 edition of Dynamite from Colorado Springs, Colorado.

All Elite Wrestling have announced that Khan will reveal the main event of the first episode of Collision, which is set to premiere on Saturday, June 17. How the show will air internationally remains unclear but Collision will be broadcast on TNT in the United States.

What the main event will be is unknown but reports ahead of the launch of Collision noted a graphic had been produced for CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe. Punk will make his return to AEW on the debut episode of the Saturday night show, which will emanate from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Khan announced on last week's Dynamite that Punk will make his return on June 17. The AEW president announced one week earlier that the Collision premiere will take place at the United Center.

Also announced for the June 7 Dynamite is Orange Cassidy vs. Swerve Strickland for the AEW International Title, Jay White vs. Ricky Starks with Juice Robinson & FTR banned from ringside, and JungleHOOK vs. Preston Vance & Dralistico in a Texas Tornado Match. MJF will also cut a promo on the show.
