Report: Possible Spoiler On Tony Khan's AEW Collision Main Event Reveal

More on Tony Khan's announcement about the AEW Collision main event

Tony Khan is set to make his latest major announcement about the debut edition of AEW Collision on the June 7 episode of Dynamite.

The AEW President has already revealed in recent weeks that the premiere of Collision on June 17 will air from the United Center in Chicago and CM Punk will make his return on the show after 10 months away from the promotion. On this week's Dynamite, Khan will reveal the main event of the debut episode of Collision.

According to Fight Fans, CM Punk appeared to be planned for a match on the inaugural edition of Collision and those plans were still in place as of one week ago. It was not confirmed who Punk will be wrestling at the event but reports in May suggested that a graphic of CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe had been created for the official launch of Collision. Punk ended up being pulled from the Collision launch, though, following issues over the status of Ace Steel.

Those issues have since been resolved and the latest rumours noted Punk vs. Joe was still in the works for a future event. Punk has also been pushing to work a programme with Jay White. The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion is currently locked in a feud with Ricky Starks but that rivalry might be ending on this week's Dynamite when the two competitors face off in singles action.
