Report: Backstage Reaction To This Week's WWE Raw

This week's Raw in Hartford, Connecticut caused a particular reaction backstage in WWE.

There is said to have been a very positive internal reaction to last night's WWE Raw, according to a report from PWInsider Elite, who explain:

"A number of talents relayed how much fun they had working in front of the Hartford, CT crowd last night and pointed out Hartford is not a city like Montreal or NYC that normally has the reputation for being 'on fire.'

"One talent pointed out that there was a much larger proliferation of signs at the taping, giving it a different feel and that the acoustics for the older, smaller venue allowed for it to sound like a much larger venue."

Another source suggested to PWInsider Elite that the venue's lack of overhead screens forced the crowd to all focus on the ring throughout the night, meaning that reactions were more unified when certain things happened during matches.

In the main event, Seth Rollins successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest. After the bell, a future title defence was set up against Priest's stablemate Finn Balor.
