Tony Khan 'Would Love' To Get Ricky Starks Involved Again In AEW

Tony Khan comments on getting Ricky Starks back in AEW

Ricky Starks’ absence from All Elite Wrestling has left many fans scratching their heads, with ‘Absolute’ having not appeared on AEW TV since March 30.

Starks stop/start booking has been a point of contention for fans of his, with Starks himself admitting he has ‘no clue’ why he isn’t on TV. AEW President Tony Khan commented on Starks during a recent interview with CBS Sports' Shakiel Mahjouri, with Khan saying the following about the former World Tag Team Champion:

“I really like Ricky Starks a lot,” Khan said. “The last time we saw him here was in the World Tag Team championship tournament. He and Big Bill formed a great team. They were the World Tag Team Champions, they had a great run, and it culminated in the last televised match of the legendary career of the icon Sting. I think it was a huge thing that Ricky and Bill, that their run culminated in such an important match.”

Khan continued noting how he want Starks back in the mix in AEW:

“I think Ricky Starks is tremendous. I’d love to get him involved and back in AEW anytime. He’s been a huge part of what we’ve done here for about four out of the five years,” Khan added.

Recent reports suggested that Starks was set to enter into an angle with tag partner Big Bill, but these were scrapped.
