Tony Nese Confirms He's Signed With AEW

The Premier Athlete is All Elite

Tony Nese has confirmed he is the latest addition to the All Elite Wrestling roster.

Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, The Premier Athlete confirmed he had signed with All Elite Wrestling and he admitted he feels comfortable in his new promotion.

"I feel like in AEW, the possibilities are now endless and it's not a matter of getting lucky that you become the next project for them. In AEW, the vibe I'm getting, is everyone is super in control of their own destiny. That, right there, gives me a lot of comfort," Nese said about his signing.

The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion first appeared on AEW TV on the October 23 edition of Dynamite when he was sat in the front row. He then wrestled at the promotion's Dark tapings on Sunday, October 24 from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.

Prior to his AEW signing, Tony Nese had spent the last five years in WWE. He was released by the company in June of this year as part of budget cuts.
