WWE are pulling out all the stops for the relaunch of Saturday Night’s Main Event, with a top superstar potentially set to return on the show on December 13.
SNME is set to feature several major title matches, as well as a plethora of WWE legends, and a post from WrestleVotes on X/Twitter suggests a certain ‘Queen’ could be making her return:
“Sources indicate that Charlotte Flair’s return is imminent, with the possibility of it happening as soon as this weekend on NBC. We are told creative was tasked earlier this week with structuring the presentation of her return.”
Flair has been out of action since December 2023, having torn her ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a match with Asuka on SmackDown. WWE have been anticipating the multi-time women’s champion’s return, with reports in October stating that Flair was being earmarked for a major match at WrestleMania 41 in 2025.
WWE still clearly view Flair as one of their most important stars, with the second-generation star having signed a lucrative multi-year contract in late 2023.
