Trinity Wins Knockouts World Championship At IMPACT Slammiversary 2023

Trinity has won the Knockouts World Championship at IMPACT Slammiversary 2023

Trinity is your new Knockouts World Champion, winning the title at the first time of asking at IMPACT Slammiversary 2023.

Champion Deonna Purrazzo had a gameplan, wearing down Trinity’s arm in order to get a submission win, but Trinity fought on, kicking out of everything ‘The Virtuosa’ threw at her, including a Queen’s Gambit driver on the apron. As Purrazzo went for a second Queen’s gambit from the top, Trinity reversed it into a sit out Full Nelson Bomb, then rolled through into the Starstruck submission, Purrazzo tapping out for the first time in her IMPACT career to give Trinity the win to a big reaction from the Windsor, Ontario crowd..

With this victory, Trinity becomes the fourth woman to have held the top women’s championship in WWE and TNA/IMPACT, following in the footsteps of Mickie James, Gail Kim, and Victoria/Tara. Trinity’s win brings the curtain down on Purrazzo’s third run as Knockouts World Champion, with the ‘Virtuosa’ having won the vacant title against Jordynne Grace at Rebellion 2023.
