WWE Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque is full of praise for Bayley.
Speaking about the Damage CTRL member during the post-Fastlane press conference, Levesque said:
"To me, the all-star, the unsung all-star of that women's division, Bayley just continues to prove why she is one of the most valuable players, an MVP of that division, like nobody else. I don't know that she's always given credit for that but she absolutely should be."
While Triple H may be a big fan, Bayley's fortunes inside the squared circle have been mixed of late. Since defeating Zelina Vega on the July 14 edition of SmackDown, the 34-year-old has been on the losing side of all eight matches she has competed in. The former Women's Champion also missed a month of action after sustaining an injury at a live event.
Bayley has taken a backseat to Damage CTRL partner (and current WWE Women's Champion) IYO SKY in recent times. With Dakota Kai on the shelf, there have been teases of dissension between the two.
