AEW Collision On October 7 Draws Lowest Attendance For TV Taping Of 2023

AEW are struggling to shift tickets in some cities

The AEW Collision taping on October 7 drew the promotion's smallest crowd for a television taping this year.

According to the WrestleTix account, 2,245 tickets were distributed for the show, which took place at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.

WrestleTix added that people wrote to note that the poor attendance was visible on television and that the number represents the lowest number of fans for a TV taping outside of Daily's Place.

AEW last visited the Maverik Center when they produced an episode of Dynamite there on March 11, 2020. That show reportedly drew about 2,800 fans.

As well as Utah, it would appear that Ohio is not a hot territory for AEW tickets, either.

Just 2,521 tickets were distributed for the September 13 taping of Dynamite in the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, a venue that has a capacity of 17,556. Worse still, those numbers were down a concerning 47% from when AEW taped a special Tuesday night Dynamite from the same arena on October 18, 2022.
