Triple H Comments On The Rock & John Cena's Rumoured WWE Returns
The duo have been tipped for a comeback in the near future
Triple H has commented on speculation that The Rock and John Cena are set for imminent returns to WWE, saying the duo are always open to doing 'fun' things within the company.
Cena and The Rock have both been reported as potential big-match opponents for Universal Champion Roman Reigns between SummerSlam 2021 and WrestleMania 38 next April.
The pair of WWE legends, who have transcended the business to become huge Hollywood stars, are just two names being lined up as reported 'surprises' for the WWE Universe as WWE return to live events, touring, and fans in attendance.
When asked if now was the right time to be bringing back the likes of Cena and The Rock, Triple H told the New York Post: "No matter how busy they are, I know that anytime there’s an opportunity where you would say to them, ‘Hey, you could enter the ring in WWE and do this,’ there’s a part of them that goes, ‘Ooh, that sounds like a lot of fun."
