Triple H Says WWE Is Open To Working With Other Promotions

"We're open for business"...

Don Callis shocked the professional wrestling world earlier this week as he revealed new AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will appear on next week's edition of IMPACT Wrestling. The two men worked together on Dynamite to defeat Jon Moxley and then fled Daily's Place with the AEW Title, only briefly stopping to give Alex Marvez the news of Omega's upcoming appearance.

With a working relationship between AEW and IMPACT Wrestling in place, Triple H was asked during the pre-NXT TakeOver: WarGames media call if WWE was open to working with other promotions.

The Game said: "In what you've seen in the past, PROGRESS, ICW, EVOLVE, all those things, we're open for business in a lot of ways, in a lot of things and a lot of everything. And people's thoughts, misconceptions, their perceived knowledge of what we do, how we think and all that stuff is often greatly misinterpreted and not necessarily accurate.

"So, are we open to the right business opportunities? Yeah, at any given time we're open to things. And it just depends on what they are and are they beneficial to us long term? And again, when I say long term I'm not talking about three months or six months. Long term. 10 years. You know, 10-15 years from now. Is that beneficial? Is that meaningful? Is it long term? That's how we think. It's much longer in duration. Not necessarily worried about the minute by minute, it's the long duration.

"So, open for business, I think you hear Vince say that a lot. I've been around him long enough to know that if it's the right thing and it's meaningful to business, he's open to anything."
