WWE's Clash At The Castle show was a major success for the company.

The United Kingdom's first WWE stadium show in over thirty years was a record-breaking event, with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque tweeting a graphic outlining the impressive accomplishments, accompanied by the caption:

"#WWECastle was a massive success for @WWE across all lines of business and the #WWEUniverse in the UK…the next question is where should we go next?!"

Clash At The Castle was number one in international viewership for a premium live event in WWE history. It was also the largest European crowd gate ever and was the best-selling non-WrestleMania event as far as merchandise sales.

Further to that, it trended number one on Twitter and was the highest-rated international premium live event in WWE history in terms of fan interaction.

Clash At The Castle was also a critical success, with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer awarding a rare (for main roster WWE) five-star rating to the Intercontinental Title match between Gunther and Sheamus.
