Two More Title Matches Set For WWE NXT The Great American Bash
A Women's Tag Team Title Bout & A Million Dollar Championship Match
Two new Championship matches have been added to next week's WWE NXT The Great American Bash card.
The NXT Women's Tag Team Championships will be on the line as reigning champions Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell defend against Io Shirai and Zoey Stark.
Shirai and Stark became the number one contenders to LeRae and Hartwell's Titles after defeating NXT Women's Champion Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai, and Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match on NXT. Shirai got the win for her team, pinning Kai after hitting a Moonsault.
Shirari and Stark's win means the relatively inexperienced team will challenge The Way for the gold next Tuesday.
Also confirmed for The Great American Bash was a Million Dollar Championship Match as LA Knight defends the Title against Cameron Grimes.
Grimes challenged Knight to a match for the Championship next Tuesday on this week's episode. Knight initially declined Grimes' challenge, before saying he would accept if the stipulation was added that Grimes would become his butler if he loses.
Knight defeated Grimes in a ladder match at NXT TakeOver: In Your House earlier this month to become the first Million Dollar Champion in WWE since 2010.
The two Title matches have been added to a card that will also see MSK defend the NXT Tag Team Titles against Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher, while Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly will also meet one-on-one.
