Two New Matches Added To AEW Revolution

A title match and a grudge match...

The AEW Revolution card is beginning to take its final form with just five nights to go before the pay-per-view in Chicago.

The match card has expanded to six, with two new matches made official on Monday.

One will be for the AEW Women's championship, as Nyla Rose defends the title against Kris Statlander.

Rose won the title from Riho on the February 12 edition of Dynamite. The following week, while Rose cut a promo from the entrance stage, Statlander interrupted and "booped" the title belt, which classifies as a rather unique declaration of intent.

Also taking place on Saturday is a match pitting Inner Circle member Sammy Guevara against Darby Allin.

Several weeks ago, Guevara used Allin's own skateboard to injure his throat during a beatdown. In the weeks since, Allin has appeared in vignettes, indicating that revenge is coming, before joining in an attack on Guevara and The Inner Circle this past Wednesday.

The current card for AEW Revolution, this Saturday night at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, is as follows:

*AEW World Heavyweight: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Jon Moxley

*Cody Rhodes vs. MJF

*AEW World Tag Team: Kenny Omega and Adam Page (c) vs. The Young Bucks

*AEW Women's: Nyla Rose (c) vs. Kris Statlander

*Dustin Rhodes vs. Jake Hager

*Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara
