Two Tag Team Championship Matches Set For September 7 WWE NXT

Both the NXT Tag Team Championships and the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles will be defended on the September 7 episode of WWE NXT.

It was confirmed on this week's episode of NXT that MSK would defend their Tag Titles against Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch, the former champions who had to vacate the belts due to an injury to Burch.

Wes Lee & Nash Carter won the vacated belts in a tournament but, with Burch returning last week, asked NXT General Manager William Regal if they could give the former champions a chance to win the gold back. Regal agreed, making the bout official.

It has also been announce that Io Shirai and Zoey Stark will defend the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles for the first time since winning the belts at NXT Great American Bash in July, when they take on Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter.

The September 7 episode of NXT will also feature the in-ring debut of Mei Ying, a match between Ember Moon and Kay Lee Ray, and Carmelo Hayes vs. Santos Escobar.
