Two Titles Vacated As Nueva Generacion Dinamita Depart CMLL

The trio have left the Mexican promotion

CMLL have confirmed that two of their championships have been vacated following the departure of Nueva Generacion Dinamita from the promotion.

CMLL announced on Tuesday that Nueva Generacion Dinamita - comprised of Sanson, El Cuatrero and Forastero - had departed the company with immediate effect. As a result, the the CMLL World Trios Championships, which the group held, have been vacated.

The CMLL World Middleweight Championship, which was held by Cuatrero, has also been declared vacant by the promotion.

The Mexican company also revealed that tournaments would be held to determine the new respective champions.

A statement posted to CMLL's social media read: "CMLL informs that, by mutual agreement, and thus agreeing to the interests of both parties, Sanson, Cuatrero & Forastero cease to belong to the roster of this organization as of today.

"Due to the above, the CMLL World Trios Championship and the CMLL World Middleweight Championship are declared vacant and the qualifying rounds will be defined shortly to find the new champions."

Sanson, Cuatrero & Forastero had been scheduled to face Hechicero, Gemelo Diablo I & Gemelo Diablo II in the main event of this Friday's CMLL Arena Mexico show. With Nueva Generacion Dinamita leaving the promotion, Volador Jr., Templario and Titan will take their place.
