Update On AEW Blood & Guts 2024 Match

Blood & Guts IV is mere weeks away, with All Elite Wrestling’s version of War Games set for July 24.

The Elite will take on ‘Team AEW’ inside the double ring cage match, with both sides looking to recruit team mates ahead of the anticipated bloodbath.

One the July 10 edition of AEW Dynamite, Team AEW received a major boost, with AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland pledging his allegiance to the team, joining Mark Briscoe in the makeshift crew.

Seeing Strickland was involved, Hangman page seemingly gave in and joined The Elite’s team, partnering with The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and Jack Perry. Hangman initially rebuffed The Bucks’ attempt to recruit him for the bout, but it seems his blind hatred of Strickland was enough to get him into the cage.

Whilst not confirmed for Blood & Guts, a returning Darby Allin vowed on Dynamite to continue his war against The Elite - most notably Jack Perry - and has promised to see them on the July 17 250th edition of Dynamite in Little Rock. Dynamite 250 will also see Strickland and Okada face off in a champion vs. champion bout, possibly giving us a taste of what’s to come at Blood & Guts.
