Update On AEW Plans For FTR vs. The Young Bucks IV

What do AEW have planned for FTR vs. Young Bucks IV?

After a brief interlude, the programme between The Young Bucks and FTR looks set to restart in the near future following WrestleDream. Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler remained the AEW World Tag Team Champions at the October 1 pay-per-view, picking up a win over Aussie Open. The Young Bucks, meanwhile, earned a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Titles at any time after winning a Four-Way against The Gunns, The Lucha Brothers, and Orange Cassidy & HOOK.

The fourth match between FTR and The Young Bucks looks set to take place on pay-per-view, with Fightful Select reporting the match has long been discussed for AEW Full Gear. That show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 18 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.

FTR are currently ahead in the head-to-head series against The Young Bucks. Matt and Nick Jackson won the first match back at Full Gear 2020, while FTR came away with the victory in their second encounter on a 2022 episode of Dynamite. The third match took place inside Wembley Stadium at All In, with FTR picking up the win following a Shatter Machine.

The Young Bucks refused to shake FTR's hands following the All In match and they remained briefly linked on AEW TV, teaming together in a loss to Bullet Club Gold at All Out.
