Several title matches in the works for AEW

All Elite Wrestling is in the midst of one of their busiest periods in their history, with a little over a month separating All In and WrestleDream, with All Out and Grand Slam right in the middle.
With All In and All Out out of the way, the next PPV in the AEW calendar is the inaugural WrestleDream event on October 1, with two matches so far confirmed for the show. Per a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW are considering several title matches for the show.
Per Meltzer, both the AEW World Tag Team Championships and the AEW Trios Titles are being considered for the show, with current plans leaning towards an FTR vs. Le Sex Gods tag title match, and an Acclaimed & Billy Gunn vs. The Dark Order trios championship bout.
Le Sex Gods (Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara) are set to face off in singles competition at the upcoming Grand Slam III Dynamite special on September 20 to iron out any kinks before heading for the tag titles. Although Meltzer claims this could go down at WrestleDream, he added that whilst the match is indeed happening soon ‘it’s not clear when’.
The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn vs. The Dark Order has been teased on TV since the trios titles changed hands at All In, with The Dark Order having turned heel and found a new edge in recent weeks.
Meltzer also suggests that Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kota Ibushi could take place at WrestleDream, after Takeshita and Don Callis marked Ibushi as a target on the September 13 Dynamite.
