Update On Axiom Following WWE Main Roster Debut

Latest on Axiom and the WWE main roster

An NXT talent made their WWE main roster debut on the November 17 edition of Friday Night SmackDown and an update on his WWE status has emerged.

Dragon Lee, who has become a regular on the main roster in recent months, was out to secure a measure of revenge for Rey Mysterio on SmackDown but he ultimately didn't receive his wish to face Santos Escobar. Instead, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis drafted in Axiom as Dragon Lee's opponent and Lee would ultimately pick up the win over the former A-Kid in an eight-minute match.

Despite his debut on the main roster, November 17 wasn't Axiom's official WWE main roster call-up, Fightful Select has reported. Axiom may well have been on Friday Night SmackDown as a tryout match for an eventual main roster move, although that is simply speculation based on WWE's past booking of NXT talents.

The former A-Kid has wrestled under a mask as Axiom since 2022. He hasn't wrestled on NXT TV proper since a Fatal 4-Way to become the number one contender for the NXT North American Title back on September 26. Axiom's recent appearances have instead been restrained to NXT Level Up or house shows.
