Brock Lesnar's WWE future is up in the air after he was implicated in the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE. McMahon was accused of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and physical and emotional abuse, while John Laurinaitis was accused of sexual assault. WWE have been accused of trying to cover up the allegations against McMahon.

Lesnar was not named directly in the lawsuit but a "former UFC Heavyweight Champion" was referenced and later confirmed to be Lesnar by the Wall Street Journal. The lawsuit alleges that Janel Grant was used as a sexual pawn in Vince McMahon's attempts to re-sign Brock Lesnar in 2021, with one of the informal conditions of Lesnar's comeback being that he could "f**k" Grant. Vince McMahon also allegedly directed Grant to produce "personalized sexual content" for Lesnar which included her urinating in a video sent to him. Two sexual encounters between Lesnar and Grant were arranged, according to the lawsuit, but did not go ahead.

The immediate aftermath of the lawsuit saw Vince McMahon resign as TKO Executive Chairman and Lesnar be pulled from the Royal Rumble, with his creative being given to given to Bron Breakker in the men's Rumble match.

Lesnar is now not expected to be back in WWE in the near future and some people within the company don't think he will ever be back on TV, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

"It appears that Brock Lesnar is not going to be around for a while. Some people think ever. When it comes to talent, I hate to say forever because it's almost never the case, especially if someone can draw they always seem to find a way back," Meltzer said.
