Update On Brock Lesnar's WWE Contract

The Beast didn't appear at Stomping Grounds...

Brock Lesnar's last official WWE 'match' was the last-minute appearance that saw The Beast Incarnate win the Money In The Bank briefcase.

The win has seen a pretty dramatic upturn in the amount of appearances Lesnar has been making when compared to his attendance record over the last few years.

While those appearances may have slowed down over the past couple of weeks Brock is very much contracted to WWE for the foreseeable future, with those on Wrestling Observer Radio taking a look at the deal the former Universal Champion is on currently: “I just know he’s been signing short term deals, but he’s been offered really good money so he may have signed a longer-term deal because he ain’t signing with UFC. I think that’s real clear right now is that he’s not going," said Dave Meltzer.

“I don’t know if he was ever gonna go [to UFC]. He may have been using it for leverage."

Brock was expected by many to be the special guest referee for Seth Rollins' Universal title defence against Baron Corbin at Stomping Grounds on Sunday. However, Lacey Evans filled the role instead.
