Update On Cash Wheeler's Arrest & AEW All In Status

Cash Wheeler still likely to be at AEW All In

Cash Wheeler was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm yesterday after a warrant was put out for his arrest following an incident on July 27th. His status for AEW All In seemed up in the air, but PWInsider has reported that Wheeler has not had to surrender his passport, going on to say:

“There are currently no restrictions on Wheeler traveling internationally that have been imposed by the court.

“Since Wheeler has not been convicted of a crime, it does not currently appear he will have any issues traveling to London for the event.”

In terms of his status in AEW, Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling has reported that at least some in AEW had no idea of Wheeler’s situation.

“Haus of Wrestling has been asking around all day about whether AEW was aware of the charge against Wheeler before the news broke this morning and has not been able to find anyone who knew anything prior to today. This includes several notable AEW roster members and top members of management. On two occasions, I was the person to break the news to members of upper management, who seemed completely unaware of what was unfolding.”

FTR has been advertised for both Collision and Dynamite to seemingly continue the build to their AEW World Tag Team Title match at All In.
