Update On Chances Of Rhea Ripley Main Eventing WWE Elimination Chamber

Latest on Rhea Ripley headlining WWE Elimination Chamber

WWE are set to return to Australia in early 2024 when the company holds the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia on February 24. The show is being held in partnership with Tourism Western Australia and will see WWE look to fill the 61,000-seat stadium.

Rhea Ripley has been heavily involved in promoting the show in her homeland and it was stated by 7NEWS Adelaide that Ripley will "headline" Elimination Chamber and main event the show. This may not be the case, though, as Haus of Wrestling has reported that a WWE source told them: "Rhea Ripley will be on the show, and creative will dictate the match and match position."

The "headline" speculation from Australia was simply a case of "local news doing what they do, but all good." A similar situation occurred in September when The Western Australia reported The Rock could wrestle at Elimination Chamber, which WWE PR stated was an example of "tabloids being tabloids."

Within WWE, Rhea Ripley has received praise for the amount of promotion she has done for Elimination Chamber. She remains one of WWE's top stars as the Women's World Champion and Ripley was recently ranked #1 in the 2023 PWI Women's 250
