Update On Chris Jericho Potentially Being Revealed As WWE's Masked Man

The mystery of the mysterious masked man has been a big talking point in WWE over the last few weeks ever since a hooded assailant proved to be the deciding factor at WWE Survivor Series 2025 during the men’s WarGames match. It was reported that the man under the mask was absent WWE wrestler Austin Theory, following on from reports that he was originally scheduled to be a part of The Vision’s WarGames team, before plans changed. Many other names have been thrown around by fans, including Chris Jericho. 

Although it has been noted that more than one person has been playing the role of the masked man on WWE programming, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has noted that there is said to be “zero chance” that any sort of reveal involving the masked man will include Jericho. There is a heavy expectation that upon the end of his AEW deal, Jericho will be making a return to WWE with plans for a retirement run in discussions. 

Despite some speculation, it was revealed that the masked man on RAW this week was not portrayed by Montez Ford.
