Update On Dominik Mysterio's Injury

The Judgment Day member has provided a timeframe for his return.

Dominik Mysterio has provided an update on his condition as he continues to recover from an elbow injury.

'Dirty' Dom last wrestled on the April 15 episode of Raw, where he suffered the injury during a match with Andrade. It was initially feared that he would require surgery to fix it, but that turned out not to be the case.

Speaking on The Masked Man Show, Mysterio gave a timeline for his return, saying:

"Arm's good, arm's healing up good. I had a slight tear in my Tommy John ligament, which was kind of like a freak accident in the wrestling world because it's a baseball injury. But, yeah, about 6-8 weeks. I've been doing two times a week for rehab. So I'm just trying to get healthy and trying to get back out there to help The Judgment Day so they can physically start hurting again".

This confirms the timeframe given in previous reports

Dominik's father Rey Mysterio recently heaped praise on his son while noting that breaking up their tag team was the best thing for the 27-year-old's career.
