Recent reports suggested that former WWE star Elias/Elijah had signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling, after an appearance in a video with Ring of Honor's The Righteous.

However, it seems such reports were a little wide of the mark, with Fightful Select stating the troubadour is not signed to AEW/ROH. Elijah recently wrestled on the Jericho Cruise against AEW talent Tommy Billington, but is not signed to the company.

Whether Elijah will make any further appearances with The Righteous remains to be seen, although Fightful’s report suggested that TNA Wrestling were interested in working with the former NXT standout.

Part of WWE from 2014 until his release in 2023, Elias drifted throughout the WWE, building a lot of fan support during his run. His brother Ezekiel also appeared from time-to-time but was not as popular as his bearded guitar-strumming sibling.

Prior to his match on the Jericho Cruise, Elijah had worked across the North American independent circuit, appearing for the likes of Sami Callihan’s Wrestling REVOLVER and IWC.
