Update On Giovanni Vinci Following WWE Raw Match Stoppage

Giovanni Vinci suffered a rough landing on WWE Raw Day 1

The special Day 1 edition of Monday Night Raw featured a match stoppage.

Giovanni Vinci teamed with his Imperium faction mate Ludwig Kaiser on Monday Night Raw against Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso but the match came to an abrupt end after seven minutes following a Dropkick from Kofi Kingston to Giovanni Vinci's face while he was in mid-air. This caused Vinci to have a rough landing on the back of his head and after Kingston made the hot tag to Jey Uso, the official waved the match off, handing the babyfaces the win by referee stoppage.

Following the match, Vinci was helped to the back but managed to walk under his own power. The Imperium member has since provided a positive update, indicating he was fine on X (FKA Twitter).

Vinci tweeted in Italian: "I am fine. A thousand thanks."

Vinci has been a fixture on the WWE main roster since September 2022 when he reunited with Ludwig Kaiser and Gunther in Imperium. The match of Imperium vs. Kofi Kingston & Jey Uso came together two weeks ago after Imperium attacked Kingston while he was dressed as Santa Claus. Jey Uso then made the save for his longtime rival.
