Orange Cassidy gives a half-hearted thumbs up during his AEW entrance.

Fans of All Elite Wrestling should not expect to find Orange Cassidy on TV anytime in the near future.

The former AEW International Champion has not wrestled since the March 19 edition of AEW Dynamite, where he competed in a four-way with "Speedball" Mike Bailey, Ricochet, and Mark Davis. It has since emerged that Cassidy has suffered an injury and he is believed to have torn his pectoral muscle.

Exactly how long Cassidy will be out of action is unclear but Fightful Select has reported that Orange is expected to be on the shelf for "quite some time" if his injury is as bad as it appears. WWE's Cody Rhodes, who has previously suffered a torn pec, was out of action from June 2022 until January 2023 with the same injury.

The injury bug has bitten All Elite Wrestling in recent weeks, with Jay White, Mark Davis, and Brian Cage all suffering from issues. Jay White's broken hand led to his planned AEW Dynasty match with Will Ospreay being scrapped, while plans for the AEW World Tag Team Title match at Dynasty were changed because of Cage's issue.
