Update On Josh Alexander Quitting TNA At Genesis

Josh Alexander appeared to be finished with TNA Wrestling following Sunday night's Genesis pay-per-view but that seemingly isn't the case.

The former TNA World Champion lost an I Quit Match to Mike Santana at Genesis. Following the match, Alexander shook his opponent's hand and put over Santana, saying he was the standard of TNA now. Alexander then stated that he quit the match and he was also quitting TNA.

In a clip posted on social media, though, Alexander was confronted by TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella who stated 'the Walking Weapon' was under contract and legally bound to appear at Thursday night's episode of TNA IMPACT. Alexander simply walked away from Marella after a brief exchange before he yelled "Yep" after Marella asked if he would be at the show on Thursday.

Josh Alexander has been one of the top stars in TNA Wrestling for several years but his contract with the promotion is still due to expire in mid-February. Fightful Select noted that many in the company expect him to be finishing up with TNA in the near future.
