Update On Kamille's Free Agent Status

The status of Kamille has sparked several stories and rumours over the last few weeks after the former NWA Women’s World Champion finished up her deal with the NWA and became a free agent at the start of 2024. 

It was initially expected that WWE would land Kamille, but there was no movement on that in the first couple of weeks of January. A report from Fightful Select though has provided an update on this front, with apparent overtures being made to bring in Kamille to WWE. 

Earlier this week, Kamille was reportedly backstage at AEW Dynamite, raising questions over whether her potential future with WWE. It was noted that she was present to visit friends backstage at the show, though this update from Fightful Select has stated that “she did speak with several people of influence at the show.”

As of now though, Kamille has still not officially signed with anyone and neither company has made any form of announcement. It was reported over the weekend that WWE & AEW are reportedly going head to head on the signing of Kazuchika Okada, and based on this report, something similar could happen with Kamille.
