Update On Kazuchika Okada's Merch Being Removed From Pro Wrestling Tees

Pro Wrestling Tees removing Kazuchika Okada merchandise from sale

Online wrestling merchandise website Pro Wrestling Tees revealed this week that they were pulling Kazuchika Okada’s merch store at the start of February, with many fans seeing this as ‘evidence’ of Okada signing a deal with WWE.

With Pro Wrestling Tees being a retailer of official All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling merchandise it’s easy to see why this link was made, but Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful cleared up any confusion over the matter, writing the following on X/Twitter:

“I'm told the Pro Wrestling Tees/Okada thing is not indicative of WWE or AEW, it's in relation to his NJPW deal expiring,” posted Sapp.

Indeed, when Jay White’s NJPW deal expired his merch shop was also pulled from Pro Wrestling Tees, with White later signing a contract with AEW despite rumoured interest from WWE.

Since Okada announced his exit from NJPW in January, rumour and speculation has been rife concerning where his next home will be, with WWE and AEW both said to be extremely interested in signing the generational ‘Rainmaker’ to a full-time deal. Okada has not publicly commented on the rumours surrounding his future.
