Update On LA Knight Following Injury Claims

A sudden claim that LA Knight was dealing with an injury emerged this week after Lueken Wine and Spirits - a wine, spirits and beer superstore in Tampa Bay, Florida - announced the former Eli Drake was unable to attend a meet and greet at the shop on December 27 due to injury.

Despite the claim, LA Knight is not dealing with an injury, WWE told Fightful Select. LA Knight was simply never approved to appear at Lueken Wine and Spirits.

Replacing LA Knight at the meet and greet is Braun Strowman. The former Universal Champion will be signing bottles of Wheatley vodka from 10 am ET to 12 pm ET at Luekens Midtown.

WWE are in Tampa, Florida on Friday, December 27 for WWE SmackDown at the Amalie Arena. You can still buy tickets for the show.

LA Knight has been one of the top stars on SmackDown throughout 2024. He recently dropped the United States Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series but Knight has since entered a programme with Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline.
